This is one of my personal favorites. It is a fun one, with lots of fun signs and I love the song. We also see a lot of Lucy in this one which me and the children really love. This is a must buy!

Signing Time Move and Groove presents a fun way to learn action signs. It provides a practical combination of physical movements with music. This new series also includes "ABC Time" and introduces early reading and vocabulary skills. My daughters love "Game Time" another great feature of this new series which makes the learning extra-interactive. No sitting on the couch just watching this one, clear the floor to make room to dance, shake, and move your body!! Don't forget to watch the special features, we love watching `Alex and Leah Freestyle', Leah does an excellent mime routine!

Based on some of the reviews for the Series 2, I was a little skeptical about purchasing them. But I wanted to learn more, and we loved Series 1 and BST. So I dived in and started buying Series 2.

I feel those reviews for Series 2 were a bit off base, but you can’t please everyone. Move & Groove was another great buy. You learn more signs about moving and a few new songs. Not as many songs as some of the past dvd’s but still a fun time. Rachel started this new part “What Time is it?” and it is a nice change of pace with Story Time, Counting Time, ABC Time, Game Time and Move/Groove Time. Some of those are a bit repetitive, but again most kids need that. Another great buy!

The only critique that I have, if I could be so bold, is she doesn’t sign as many words as she did in the other series. Like when she sings a song, before in BST & Series 1 she would sign all through it and now I have noticed that she only signs the words that you learn in the dvd. I feel that is a bit backwards since the kids that are watching this are probably older and would get more out of it, learning more signs verses when they were babies. Since repetition is good, then at least sign the words previously learned from the first series.

Still a fun way to get up and move!

Great signs, but repetitive song

My daughter loves Signing Time and Baby Signing Time. We own 8 dvds total.

What I like about this dvd:

- it includes the alphabet song

- it has a fun counting song (although I believe it is a preview, they only sing through the numbers once)

- it has a lot of useful signs for moving like walk, run, hike, swim, jump, etc.

What I don't like:

The "Groove with Me" song is very repetitive and sung throughout the entire dvd. They basically go through each sign and sing " when I say ___, I wanna see you ___." There are many songs in the Signing Time series that I enjoy listening to and this is NOT one of them. This tune accounts for FIVE of the nine songs on the dvd. The other four songs are the signing time theme, alphabet song, counting song (short preview), and I'd love to play a game, which is a nice song but very short.

Another great product from Signing Time!, "Move and Groove" is also a new favorite of our 4 year old son and his friends. The music is fun and upbeat for the kids. The video is broken up into segments (new signs and reviews of other signs) that will keep the kids attention from start to finish. The ST! videos are all excellent and only get better with time!

Most These signs were already taught in series 1. Songs are not as creative and she doesn't sign near as much. The alphabet and spelling is really cool though. I don't mind not as many new signs but I wish she signed with the songs more. SIGNING TIME STAFF COMMENTS: Series Two has a lot of "contextual signs", which are signs that are not taught specifically, but learned while watching them being signed.
