My 3 year old niece LOVES this video - we gave it to her for Christmas and she watches it over and over again. The "LMNO" song is so cute and clever. Very fun and helps her with her ABCs!

After watching Rachel's songs on Nick Jr (my son LOVES the Feeling Song...oh okay...I do too...LOL!!!), I looked more into it and figure out that all the songs were from Signing Time. I myself learned basic signs in elementary school (we had a deaf boy in my 2nd grade class) and I still remember quite a bit. Now that I am a daycare provider and a mom, it is important for all the children to learn sign language as well (plus I myself want to be able to move towards more conversational sign to be able to communicate with a hearing impaired college student at our church). I debated which dvd to start with (almost started with the volume with the Feelings Song because of my son's love), but instead decided to start with this one so the kids can start learning their ABCs and 123s (plus we have also been doing 1-2 new signs each week...this week was "yes" and "no"...the kids pick them up SO fast!). My oldest son 4 and my daycare kiddo 3 were both glued to the tv and signed along with Rachel. My 2 1/2 year old son would do his best and when he couldn't get his little fingers to do the right thing, he would run over to me and ask for help...he was so excited when he could do it himself...I'm sure with no time he will be keeping up with his brother and the 3 year old. I also have an 18 month old daycare kiddo and am expecting a baby in April, so I am looking forward to doing baby sign with them too! Thank you for Signing Time and we will be purchasing a new dvd each month to add to our daycare collection until we have all 26!!! Oh, and I LOOOVVVVEEEE the fact that Rachel puts tape/paint on her fingers to help the kiddos (it is nice because my son is color blind, but the colors she chose are very bright so he can still tell a difference!)! It is fantastic!

Great Job!

I first bought Signing time for my older son. He understands a lot more than he uses it, but LOVES to watch the DVDs and Deaf friends sign. My new son, 9 months, loves to watch it as well. They both get some education as I get down time. I'm thrilled to hear that public Tv is picking it up as well. Great job!!!!

My 18 month old and 4 year old grandchildren watch this DVD daily and love it! Signing time has us learning and sharing in such a wonderful way. It has added confidence for the 4 year old and increased verbal and sign skills for the baby. We are hooked! Amma Cindy

My daughter Layla has really taken to learning ASL. Her Great Aunt starting teaching her baby signs at age 6 months and now at age 18 months she knows over 30 signs. She loves the Signing Time videos, she does not watch anything else! My husband and I enjoy learning with her, the videos are great and I catch myself humming the songs! I would highly recommend to anyone even remotely interested in learning ASL!

My son has down syndrome and has been signing for a few years. We bought him this video when he turned four. He was already signing his alphabet, but this just reinforced his knowledge. He picks this video out every time we let him choose one. The songs are so creative and fun to sing to.

This is one of my top favorites. It's hard to choose a favorite from the series, but after what ABC Signs has meant to my son, I have to say I completely love it. My son has Down syndrome, and we bought this volume when he was 4½. In less than 2 months, he went from knowing about 50% of the alphabet to knowing it all, being able to recognize upper & lowercase, could sign each letter and tell you many things that began with the letter. 2 months later he began spelling words (all from Signing Time, because of the way it's presented), and would finger spell them, spell them with his alphabet letters (without any hints) and then show the sign for the word he had spelled. Later I wrote words down on his magnetic board and he read 75% of them accurately, complete with sign.

This volume is an absolute must-have for every child (and school!)

And with practice, you'll be able to keep up with Rachel during "A is for Alex and Alligator"!

I just wanted to say this volume is great. Rachel gives clear easy explanation of the letters, and even though I know them, I learned something new. The songs are fantastic, and if I wanted to introduce someone to Signing Time, I would give them this one, along with the Everyday Signs or one of the other ones that starts with the basics in vocabulary.
