I bought the Baby Signing Time videos when my twins were almost 3. We had watched all the other videos over and over and were looking for more. Despite the name, I think these might be my kids' favorites. The songs are really catch and the signs are really clear. These videos are not babyish for older children. One of my kids is language delayed, and these videos have reinforced some of the most important signs for them, such as more, eat, drink, and finished. After watching these videos, it seemed like a light bulb went on in her head. Not only was she signing a lot more, she began speaking more. She is now using signs and speech for word from all of the video. My husband had to ask what she was doing when a helicopter flew overhead and she did the sign. My son sings all the songs all day long. I am so pleased with this purchase, even though my children are no longer babies.

The more he watches this dvd, the more he likes it. It's a little fast moving for him, but the more he sees it, the better it is. He picked up on the "more" sign, but is having a hard time with the others. He also has CP on the right side of his body, due to a brain injury at birth, which limits his interaction, but overall I think the more I work with him, the better it will get. He is also non-verbal but hopefully theses dvd's will help.

I just bought the baby Signing time DVDs. My daughter is 14 months old and we have been loving the Signing Time DVDs for about a month. Starr loves the baby Signing Time also!! I am convinced that her spoken vocabulary is larger because of Signing Time. Because of her ability to sign, as well as speak, we are able to communicate more effectively and we enjoy each other so much as a result! Thanks to Rachel for her hard work, dedication and struggles because it has blessed my life!

I purchased the Baby Signing Time DVD Gift set for my son when he was just a few months old. I had friends who had taught their children just a few signs, which had alleviated some frustration at early ages. He immediately loved the video. I had 30 minutes where I could clean house or just rest while he was watching an exceptional, educational show. This is the best signing series I've seen. My son is now 15 months and still enjoys the signing videos. He does several of the signs & he & his parents are so proud when he does them. Thanks for the great resource for teaching our child!

I got these DVD's for my son's first birthday. He absolutely loves them! He is already communicating with us much more because he is able to sign what he wants. Now he will sign "all done" instead of throwing his food on the floor, sign "eat" when he is hungry instead of crying, and let me know when he wants to go somewhere by signing "car", just to name a few. This has been extremely helpful in eliminating a lot of guessing when my son wants something. Thank you so much! I had a book on baby sign, and looking at pictures in a book does not even compare to learning from your DVDs they are so easy to understand, and remember thanks to all the wonderful songs! We love listening to the CDs while we are in the car.

My 7 month old has been watching the Baby Signing time videos for the last two months. She calms down and will start laughing if I pull out the flash cards when she's starting to get bored if we're out. I'm pretty involved in volunteer work and I love having something different that I can share with her when we're away from home. She really likes "playing" with Mommy instead of another toy. She lights up and giggles whenever I use the signs we've learned so far. She hasn't tried them yet, but she certainly recognizes "potty", Mommy, Daddy, milk, eat, cat, fish and all done. I'm really glad she'll have something that will double as physical therapy following her surgery in a couple of weeks. It involves her shoulder and entire arm... so having a familiar thing to work on doing will be such a help! Her physical therapist said sign language is wonderful for her. Thank you so much! We can't wait to graduate to the rest of the Signing Time program!

My 15 month old daughter loves these! She started watching Baby Signing time at 13 months and now she can do almost all the signs from both DVDs. She asks for it everyday by making the sign for "baby." If she sees something that she recognizes, she will do the sign for it! We were at a store and she saw a picture of the ocean so she did the sign for "fish" and "water." Her favorite signs are the animal signs. She's always finding fish, dogs, birds and cats wherever we go. Her all time favorite song from the DVDs is the "Diaper Dance." She immediately starts dancing when it comes on. She also does the sign for "potty" when she wants her diaper changed. Her first sign was "hat" and she loves the "One Shoe" song. When her hands are dirty she will do the "wash hands" sign. She recently started doing the sign for "hurt" if she gets hurt. It has been so wonderful to know what she wants or to know what she's getting so excited about.



I love that there is a song for each set of signs. I sing them to her all the time. My personal favorites are "Mom has a Mom" and "I Wash my Hands." It's really nice that the songs aren't annoying and that I can handle hearing them everyday. These DVDs are great learning tools. I want to buy them for my sisters when they have babies! I recommend them to everyone!

My 9 month old has been watching these videos for a couple months now and he LOVES them!!!! If he's fussy or bored all I have to do is turn on the TV and he runs to it in his walker to watch his Baby Signing time Videos!! If my older children put something else on he will be satisfied for a minute but will get over it quickly, not with Baby Signing time though!!! He looks forward to the videos every day! I'm sure in the next couple months he will start picking up the signs, I think it helps that I do my best to use them in everyday life as well. Oh and the songs are wonderful, the rest of my family does not get bored of them either. Thanks Baby signing time!

I got this for my son Brian for his 1st birthday. I had taught him a few signs on my own, but his signing back didn't compare until we got the Baby Signing Time 1-2 DVD/CD gift set! Every month, he learned a few more signs. Now, at 18 months, he can sign every sign from the DVDs, and although he can use signs to communicate, his speech is developing rapidly, too! He loves dancing to the songs, too!



The CDs are wonderful for car trips! My son does not enjoy car rides very much yet, but Baby Signing Time songs are the only thing to keep him quiet and playful.
