How are TreeSchoolers videos different from Signing Time videos?

    • The goal of TreeSchoolers is to teach a complete preschool curriculum.
    • The goal of Signing Time is to teach ASL signs.
    • Both shows feature original songs by Emmy-nominated host, Rachel Coleman.
    • Both shows feature ASL signs. Signing Time completely focuses on signing. And since research shows that signing can help preschool children learn and remember new concepts, it was natural to include a handful of ASL signs in TreeSchoolers, too!

There is no one who loves Rachel and Signing Time more than I do but I am disappointed that ST continues to do basically the same thing over and over even though most suggested doing signing for teenagers etc. Something that has not been done. I hope in the future this will happen. I have gotten this same feedback from others. Still I wish them well in all they do.

    Great addition

Wow - I love this! The Treeschoolers is great and I'm going to love having this as a new addition to the Signing Time! collection. I have an in-home child care with both an Infant/Toddler program and a Preschool Program. I've been using Signing Time! for the past 4 years with all of my kids. I'm very excited when I watched it. The language development is excellent and lesson is great with a wonderful combination of science, math, language, and social skills. The characters are very cute. New music is superb.

The only things I would change: Rachel - the kids missed your "fingers" being taped! And I would have liked to have you do more signing with your songs/talking since you are educating and my kids have been with you for 3-4 years! It would have been great for all of us to have the practice "reading" the signing. =)

I look forward to new Treeschooler editions!! Hope they are coming soon!

    Excellent, and well received

My great grandson has Down Syndrome, and we have been buying and playing the signing time DVD's since he was about six months old. As a Down Syndrome child, he does not talk a lot yet (only 2 years old) and he uses the signing a lot. He is so interested in the New Tree Schooler DVD Rainy Day and I am anxious to see what the next one will be like. He loves music and it is wonderful for him that Rainy Day has so any great songs....

My hearing daughters started with Baby Signing Time at 13 months by 17 months, they were signing over 100 words. They went on to Signing Time. Tree Schoolers is the next step and has been a delight. The songs, animation and explanation is made easy. It captures and keeps their attention. They point and answer at the television. Our favorite song is the Itsy Bitsy Spider/Never Give Up. I appreciate the character building that is promoted with your company. My only wish is that there is more Tree Schoolers to come! We are ready for the next episode.

Thank you for the quality products you offer.

My 3yo son has been watching Baby Signing Time since he was 1, and he still loves to watch them with his little brother. I got this to.give them something new to watch, and already we have watched it 50+ times. Both boys love it, and the older one has learned so much from it.

As a parent, I love the educational value of this show, and look forward to more in this series. I love the songs and style of the show. However I personally feel a few of the characters could be toned down a bit. Chroma and Isaac just seem excessively strange to me, and Tomas is just flat out full of himself, not a behavior I want my kids to copy.

Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone with young children. Just be prepared to watch it repeatedly :)
